ALBUM RELEASE!

We are super excited to announce the upcoming release of our first full-length CD, “Lagniappe.”

Named for the French / Cajun term meaning “a small, unexpected gift or favor,” the new album has been in the works for several months at Tucson’s Silver Stream Studio.

The night before, the band will host a grande NOLA-themed, CD Release Party at Tucson’s Monterey Court. Reservations are strongly suggested. There will be a special menu for the occasion, as well as New Orleans specialty cocktails Barry the Bartender! Don’t miss it!

Now in Rehearsal

French Quarter is currently taking a short break from performing. We’ve been regulars at the Heirloom Farmer’s Market, building an appreciative audience and having a ball while we’ve been at it! But with festival season right around the corner, we’ve gone into rehearsal for a few weeks. We’re trying out some new tunes and will be adding a bunch to our already large songbook. And we’re refining the arrangements of a few of our tried-‘n-true tunes as well.

Another long-overdue project is recording what we hope will be a full-length CD. We’ve established a presence on Bandcamp – Bandcamp French Quarter page – and have uploaded three demo tunes for our fans to download with our compliments. Please pardon the recording quality… these were recorded live, but they do give a decent indication of the band’s unique sound. We’ll be spending some time in the recording studio over the next several weeks. Stay tuned for some other preview samples that we’ll make available to you.

We plan to be back at the Farmers Market in the springtime, and will be playing at a few of the festivals during spring and summer. We hope to see you on the road sometime!
